Meet Sarah Pavlou

Sarah Pavlou’s return to painting is not a beginning, but a homecoming, a return to the creativity that has always lived within her.
Through Pavart, Sarah expresses a belief that life is built in layers, experiences, challenges, decisions, and moments of becoming, that shape who we are. Working with rich colour, layered texture, and instinctive mark-making, she creates striking contemporary works with emotional depth and sculptural presence, pieces designed not just to be seen but felt within a space.
Alongside her studio practice, Sarah creates bespoke commissions for collectors both nationally and internationally, producing highly personal works for considered interiors where art becomes an anchor point, reflecting identity, memory, and meaning within refined living spaces.
Today, she also integrates her creative practice with her work in art therapy, coaching, and mentoring. Through guided sessions with individuals and groups, she creates spaces for expression, reflection, and transformation, where creativity, conversation, and insight become powerful tools for healing, growth, and reconnection to self.
Her most recent body of work is deeply personal. Created during a year spent caring for her mother through cancer, and shaped by profound loss, these pieces hold raw emotional intensity. They are expressions of love, grief, resilience, and tenderness; lived experience translated into layered visual form. For Sarah, they are also acts of transformation, where pain is not erased but reshaped into something enduring and meaningful.
After studying Art and Design in Newcastle and Fashion Design at Westminster University in London, Sarah worked alongside leading designers in premium fashion, refining her understanding of detail, composition, and the interplay of colour, texture, and form. At a time when art was often seen as “not a proper job,” her creative path paused as she moved into global business.
Her perspective was further shaped by living in Cyprus for 15 years, where light, landscape, and culture deepened both her visual and emotional language. During this time, she built a global career leading iconic UK brands such as Debenhams and Hamleys into international markets, before going on to support start-ups and scale-ups across diverse sectors throughout the UK.
Across every chapter, creativity remained her defining strength, shaping vision, unlocking possibility, and connecting people across cultures.
Pavart is a life of layers, an invitation to invest not only in art, but in emotion, presence, and story; bringing into our spaces, work that holds meaning, depth, and quiet transformation.
