To go deep into a landscape is to lose yourself in it, to stop observing and start feeling. Deep in the Scape was painted from that place of immersion, where the boundary between the artist and the subject dissolves and something more instinctive takes over.
Layer upon layer of acrylic was applied, not from a plan, but from a growing sense of what the painting needed. Colour bleeds into colour, texture rises and recedes, and the composition breathes with the kind of depth that only comes from truly losing yourself in the process. This is not a view of a landscape. It is the experience of being inside one.
An original acrylic on stretched canvas, unframed and ready to hang. A piece that draws you in, holds you there, and leaves you somewhere quieter than you started.
